Features

Five features, one engine. Every one of them is built to tell the truth, and every claim below is something the current build already does.

The truth model

Overload versus using extra memory on disk. That is the heart of every verdict.

Fan apps move air. CyberKaze protects the Mac you work on while local AI runs. Overload is high load, or extra memory on disk while the CPU is still busy. Using extra memory on disk is the other reading: high extra memory with a quiet CPU. Using extra memory on disk, not Overload. CyberKaze says so out loud and leaves AI running. Only Overload eases listed AI.

The honest limit: we watch load and extra memory on disk. On Apple silicon, load and extra memory on disk still decide. That is not a marketing shortcut, it is the whole truth of the current build. Fans are not read, because on a Mac the system owns them. We do not sell a degrees win, room AC, or an energy claim.

Eased back by default, work continues

Hold the listed AI in place, keep the work, continue.

Under Overload, listed AI (Ollama, MLX, LM Studio headless) is held in place so the machine is not fighting the AI for CPU. That is the default. Retaining memory: On. The model stays loaded. Then the work continues where it left off. Protection Off. No easing, even under overload.

The cool-streak resume gate

A calm streak is earned, then enforced.

A single calm reading does not undo a long Overload streak. The machine must stay calm long enough before the work continues. A brief blip cannot flip the verdict twice. The status block shows the counters, so the gate is never secret.

Quarantine

For the loop that never learns.

If the same AI keeps coming back and slamming the Mac again, we set it aside and break the loop. Every time is logged with the evidence that triggered it, because this step should never act on a guess.

The disk governor

A paced rest for the disk, not a verdict for the CPU.

On Linux servers, the disk governor paces backing-up writers when the disk is under real pressure. The writer is paced in place, and the CPU verdict is never flipped by a disk reading. That is drive protection, not a cooling or energy claim. On macOS only a failing drive sheds, because on a Mac the disk is the one part that is genuinely a drive, and its health matters more than a handful of seconds.

The honest watch

The monitor tier says exactly what it is.

The free monitor tier observes load and extra memory on disk. It shows Calm, Using extra memory on disk, and Overload. It never eases listed AI, and its status line says "watching", not "working". You can see the truth before you trust Protection with your machine.

The loop

Watch, judge, ease, continue. The same four moves on every machine.

  1. Watch. A background check once a minute, reading load and swap. The agent stays out of the way.
  2. Judge. Overload is real load. Using extra memory on disk is high extra memory with a quiet CPU, said out loud, never acted on. AI stays running.
  3. Ease. Under Overload, listed AI is eased back. Retaining memory: On. The model stays loaded.
  4. Continue. After a calm streak, the work continues where it left off.

See it on your machine.

The trial is ten days, offline, and the monitor tier is free forever.
